Welcome to My Practice Connect (“MPC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the My Practice Connect website, platform, software, services, and related resources.

By accessing or using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the platform.


Technology Platform

My Practice Connect is a secure healthcare technology platform designed to support licensed healthcare providers through prescription workflow management, provider onboarding, secure communication, educational resources, and coordination with participating pharmacy partners.

My Practice Connect provides technology infrastructure only.

My Practice Connect does not:

  • Practice medicine
  • Diagnose or treat patients
  • Prescribe medications
  • Dispense medications
  • Replace or interfere with the independent clinical judgment of licensed healthcare providers

All medical decisions remain solely the responsibility of the treating healthcare provider.


Eligibility

By using the platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You are legally authorized to use the platform.
  • Any professional credentials provided are accurate and current.
  • You will maintain all licenses, certifications, registrations, and professional obligations required under applicable law.
  • You will use the platform in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Certain platform features may be restricted to licensed healthcare providers or authorized healthcare personnel.


Provider Responsibilities

Licensed healthcare providers retain full responsibility for:

  • Patient evaluation
  • Medical judgment
  • Diagnosis
  • Treatment planning
  • Prescribing decisions
  • Patient education
  • Informed consent
  • Follow-up care
  • Compliance with applicable laws and professional standards

Nothing within the My Practice Connect platform should be interpreted as medical advice or as replacing the independent judgment of licensed healthcare providers.


Pharmacy Network

My Practice Connect facilitates communication and workflow coordination with participating pharmacy partners.

Participating pharmacies operate independently and remain solely responsible for:

  • Prescription review
  • Clinical verification
  • Medication compounding (when applicable)
  • Dispensing
  • Shipping
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Patient communications regarding fulfillment

My Practice Connect does not guarantee prescription approval, medication availability, pricing, turnaround times, shipping timelines, or patient eligibility.

Participating pharmacies and available services may change without notice.


Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances (EPCS)

Certain platform features support Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances (EPCS).

Use of these features may require:

  • Active DEA registration
  • Identity verification
  • Credential validation
  • Multi-factor authentication
  • Compliance with applicable federal and state regulations
  • Enrollment in eligible subscription plans where applicable

Healthcare providers remain solely responsible for complying with all DEA requirements and prescribing laws.


Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

You agree to:

  • Maintain accurate account information.
  • Protect your username and password.
  • Promptly notify My Practice Connect of any unauthorized account access.
  • Be responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

My Practice Connect is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized account access caused by failure to safeguard login credentials.


Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes.
  • Submit false or misleading information.
  • Misrepresent professional credentials or licensure.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the platform.
  • Interfere with platform operations or security.
  • Upload malicious software or harmful code.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the platform.
  • Violate patient privacy or applicable healthcare regulations.

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of access.


Privacy & Security

My Practice Connect implements reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to support secure healthcare workflow communication.

While we strive to maintain a secure environment, no electronic platform can guarantee absolute security.

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.


Intellectual Property

All platform content, software, workflows, designs, graphics, trademarks, logos, documentation, educational materials, and related intellectual property are owned by My Practice Connect or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or create derivative works without prior written permission.


Third-Party Services

The platform may integrate with or provide access to third-party services including, but not limited to:

  • Pharmacy partners
  • Identity verification providers
  • Electronic prescribing systems
  • Communication providers
  • Payment processors
  • Educational platforms

My Practice Connect is not responsible for the availability, performance, policies, or actions of third-party providers.


Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Practice Connect disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties regarding:

  • Continuous platform availability
  • Error-free operation
  • Medication availability
  • Prescription approval
  • Pharmacy fulfillment
  • Clinical outcomes
  • Patient outcomes
  • Third-party services

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Practice Connect and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from:

  • Platform use
  • Platform unavailability
  • Pharmacy fulfillment decisions
  • Prescription delays
  • Shipping delays
  • Medication shortages
  • Third-party services
  • Provider clinical decisions
  • Communication delays

Users assume full responsibility for their professional use of the platform.


Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless My Practice Connect, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the platform.
  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Violation of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Professional negligence.
  • Misuse of the platform.
  • Infringement of third-party rights.

Modifications

My Practice Connect reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date.

Continued use of the platform after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the platform shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Florida, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
